The Swedish foundation Riksbankens Jubileumsfond has awarded Martin Karlsson the 2021 Research Award. This award is associated with a 6-month research stay at the University of Gothenburg during the spring of 2021.

In agreement with Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung, Riksbankens Jubileumsfond has established a Swedish-German Programme for Scientific Cooperation. The most important elements of this agreement are reciprocal Research Awards from RJ to outstanding German scholars and from the Humboldt-Stiftung to Swedish ones, for scientific work in the prize-giving country.
